Most drivers are verified quickly. Persona handles ID verification and Checkr runs the background check. If verification is delayed, refresh the page or contact Customer Care.
No. Complete identity verification and the background check before booking.
Yes. You can generally reserve an available vehicle up to three days before pickup.
Collections begin only when the verified total unpaid balance on an active booking is more than $100 for a weekly booking or more than $25 for a daily booking. At or after August 19, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Central, an active booking with at least one incidental verified as both unpaid and aged uses more than $300 weekly or more than $225 daily. A balance exactly equal to $100, $25, $300, or $225 does not start collections by itself. An unpaid incidental from an ended booking remains owed, but it does not by itself restrict an active booking. The trigger is not the amount you must pay; your My Booking page shows the current amount to pay. See Payment Deadlines.
After return, the host has up to 72 hours to complete the inspection and close the booking. Any eligible refund then follows the 5–10 business day bank-processing timeline. Any deduction must be supported by evidence.
No. Only the insured driver named on the booking may operate the vehicle. There are no exceptions and no additional-driver approval path.
Availability varies. FSD is never enabled without host approval and cost confirmation. Contact ZEVO Customer Care first.
Supercharging costs are billed to your account based on usage. ZEVO applies a flat 10% processing fee to Supercharging billed through the platform.
Tolls are uploaded by the host and billed to your account. Unpaid tolls count toward your total unpaid balance. See Payment Deadlines for the current collections thresholds and your My Booking page for the amount you must pay.
Eligible personal driving during an active booking includes ZEVO program coverage. Physical damage is based on vehicle ACV, with a $105,000 ceiling and a $2,500 or $5,000 ACV-tiered deductible. Auto liability is up to $1,000,000. Coverage works differently during an active rideshare or delivery trip, when the gig platform's rules apply.
Move to safety, document the incident, and notify ZEVO promptly. Reporting within 24 hours is encouraged; the binding filing deadline is 72 hours. See Accidents & Claims.
Contact ZEVO Customer Care or Roadside Assistance. Do not authorize repairs or Tesla service costs without ZEVO or host confirmation.
The host has up to 72 hours to inspect the vehicle, upload required evidence and tolls, and close the booking. If the host does not complete those steps, the booking auto-closes after that window.
See Leaving the City and obtain any required approval before departure.
