Booking Payments Process

This guide explains when drivers are charged, how payments move through ZEVO, and when money appears in your ZEVO Wallet for base rent, security deposits, tolls, and supercharging.

Understanding Transaction Statuses

All earnings appear in your Host Dashboard → Finance: Transactions with one of two statuses:

Once a transaction is marked Paid, the funds are in your ZEVO Wallet and can be cashed out at any time or included in automatic payouts.

Base Rent & Security Deposit Payments

Drivers are charged upfront for:

How base rent is paid out to hosts

Although drivers pay for the entire week upfront, base rent is earned and paid out daily.

As each paid day of the booking is completed:

This allows drivers to end their booking early and only pay for the days they use the vehicle.

Example:

As each day is completed, that day's portion is paid to you and added to your ZEVO Wallet.

Because the driver has already paid for the week, ZEVO does not wait two business days before releasing daily base-fare payouts.

What Happens to Host Earnings if a Booking is Terminated?

If a booking is terminated mid-week due to non-payment, daily base rent payouts stop at the last completed day. Days not yet completed are not paid out until the driver resolves their balance. The security deposit is held and may be applied toward the driver's outstanding balance. ZEVO's collections process pursues the remaining debt on your behalf.

Contact ZEVO Support if you have questions about a specific terminated booking.
