FSD is a Tesla premium feature available as a paid add-on to your rental booking. It is not included in standard ZEVO rentals.
FSD is never enabled without your approval. No exceptions.
What Is FSD?
Full Self-Driving (FSD) gives drivers access to Tesla's suite of advanced driver assistance features — including Autopilot, Navigate on Autopilot, and Auto Lane Change. Drivers who want it can request it through ZEVO Customer Support.
When a driver requests FSD on one of your vehicles, the process always starts with you.
Pricing
The base cost for FSD is $99/month + taxes, charged directly through ZEVO as an incidental. As the host, you may add your own processing fee on top of the base at your discretion.
When a driver requests FSD, ZEVO CS will contact you to confirm:
- Whether you approve the request
- Your processing fee (if any)
The driver is always informed of the full total before any charge is processed. They must confirm before payment goes through.
How the Process Works
When a driver requests FSD on your vehicle:
- ZEVO CS contacts you via SMS for approval and your fee (if any).
- You approve or decline.
- If approved, ZEVO CS quotes the driver the total and collects payment.
- ZEVO CS notifies you that payment is complete.
- You enable FSD on the vehicle through your Tesla app.
- You confirm with ZEVO CS that FSD is active.
- ZEVO CS notifies the driver.
You will not be asked to enable FSD until after the driver has paid.
Your Responsibilities
- Respond to FSD approval requests promptly. Drivers waiting on a response can become frustrated, and delays reflect on the booking experience.
- Enable FSD on the vehicle only after receiving payment confirmation from ZEVO CS.
- Confirm with ZEVO CS once FSD is active so the driver can be notified.
- If you want to decline FSD requests for your vehicles permanently, contact support and we will note it on your account.
Important Rules
- You are never charged for FSD. The cost is fully passed to the driver.
- You will never be asked to enable FSD without a confirmed payment.
- Refunds on FSD require Manager approval and are handled by ZEVO CS.
- Unauthorized FSD upgrades (enabled without ZEVO CS coordination) are a policy violation and may result in account review.
