π Unlocking the Tesla
After you Begin Your Booking:
- With your Tesla phone key connected via Bluetooth, simply open the door handle. The car will automatically unlock when you approach and use the door handle, and lock when you walk away from the vehicle.
- Tesla App: Go to Controls in the app to unlock or lock remotely
- If the car does not unlock, confirm Bluetooth and Tesla app permissions first: Location must be set to Always; Android may also show Nearby devices.
Refer to Tesla Access Issues if this issue persists
ποΈ Adjust Driving Settings
- Go to Controls > Pedals & Steering to adjust:
Acceleration (Chill, Standard, or Sport mode)
Steering weight (Comfort, Standard, or Sport)
Regenerative braking (Max or Low)
Three driving modes control vehicle behavior when stopped:
- Roll: Car moves freely like in neutral
- Creep: Car inches forward like traditional gas cars
- Hold: Car stays stationary until you accelerate
- Adjust mirrors and steering wheel under Controls > Mirrors & Steering
- Modify seat position using the controls on the left side of your seat
- When adjusting your seats or mirrors, an option will appear on the Tesla screen to save these settings to your profile for future use

Vehicle Alerts
- Park safely and capture the exact alert code and wording. Use Learn More when shown, or open the bell icon for alert history.
- Use the built-in owner manual for the exact Model 3 or Model Y instructions; features can vary by model, year, region, and software.
- If the alert says PULL OVER SAFELY, preparing to shut down, unable to drive, or may not restart: stop driving and contact ZEVO or Roadside Assistance.
- Do not guess with generic resets, jump-starts, manual releases, or high-voltage procedures.
π οΈ Flat or Leaking Tires
- For low pressure, a visibly low tire, vibration, noise, or handling changes: slow down, pull over safely, and stop driving. Do not remove an embedded object.
- If the tire is flat or the vehicle is unsafe to drive, contact Roadside Assistance or ZEVO for transport. Do not continue driving.
- Drive only if the tire remains properly inflated, there are no warning symptoms, and ZEVO, the host, or a qualified tire professional confirms it is safe.
- For more info refer to Tire Repair
π§ Climate Control
- Check that it's enabled in the Tesla app or touchscreen
- Tap the temperature number at the bottom of the screen to access climate controls
- Adjust fan speed under Controls > Climate
- In extreme weather, precondition the car using the app
Car Wash and Flood Safety
- Automatic washes must be touchless. Open Controls > Service > Car Wash Mode; use Enable Free Roll only for a conveyor wash. Never force the vehicle into neutral or through the wash.
- Do not pressure-wash the charge port, especially while the vehicle is charging.
- Never drive or wade through floodwater. After submersion, do not operate, charge, or restart the Tesla. Move away and call 911 for smoke, heat, popping, or hissing, then contact ZEVO.
π² Update the Tesla Software
- Tesla updates automatically over Wi-Fi, but you'll be notified when a new update is available
- You can schedule updates to install at your preferred time
